We pushed out a few changes today, so let's get cracking and have a look.
Features
T-Shirts!
If you've been using toepoke for a while, I hope you'll agree that organising your football is much, much easier than it was before.
The last few years have been spent building the website, honing the workflow, and well ... fixing stuff!
It's now time to get the word out and let people know there's an easier way to play football!
You can help by posting on Facebook, Twitter and Google+
We'd love it you'd wear one of our reasonably priced Tees* when you're playing football, going out and ... well anywhere!
* And give us a couple of quid for the hosting too!
Map Enhancements
When adding a new game you can search for a venue using Geolocation (if your browser supports it and it's turned on)
Simply search for venues "near me" and the results provided will be ... well ... near you!
Weather Forecast
You may notice a new icon on the match.
This small, but hopefully useful addition, courtesy of the BBC Weather Service will tell you the weather forecast for the match.
Invites
- When processing invitations to join your game, the e-mail address of the player asking is show, so you can e-mail them back if you have a query.
- Players applying through the directory can add some details about themselves when applying to join a squad.
Small Changes
- You may notice a few tweaks on the styling. For example the dropdown lists are no longer displayed in that horrible green colour!
Fixes
- Link to the poster in the new e-mails was incorrect.
- When a player tried to put their name down at the same time as a manager putting their name down, an error would be generated. This has been resolved.
- Fixed issue with the tour on the new game screen around occasional matches.
- There have been issues in the past where the e-mails have failed to go out. The infrastructure driving the e-mails has been changed and should be more reliable in the future.
