Build: 1.2.0027

Build: 1.2.0027

Hi,

A few tweaks and fixes this time, so let's take a look …

Features

In-Place Ratings

The player ratings are really helpful for picking even sides, but it was a bit annoying having to click on players trying to find an even match.

To make picking teams a little easier we'll show a player's average rating alongside their shirt.

Image showing two teams used for selecting football teams. Each player has a rating between 1 and 5 ranking their ability to help create more even sides.

The numbers shown are for a player's average rating in your squad.

Players are grouped into low to high ratings. The low, medium and high colouring is spread amongst the players on the screen.

This means you may see a player with an average rating of 3*, but with a low rating because all the other players have 5* ratings.

Players who haven't been rated are flagged with NR.

Non Functional Changes

  • Upgrade to MVC4.
  • Upgrade to Visual Studio 2017.

Fixes

  • When the sides had yet to be selected the teamsheet email didn't make sense - spoke of having zero players! Reworded so it makes more sense.

  • Managers were no longer receiving emails when a player dropped out after the deadline.

  • Teams email didn't make much sense when teams hadn't been selected. Reworded.

  • Issue where an error processing one event put all events into a loop where none could be fully completed.

  • Floating members of a squad could not be dropped.

That's all folks!

As always, if I've mucked anything up, please tweet me off! wink.

Until next time ... may your matches be full of players, and you boots stay laced up.

Team TP.
