Tell me more ...

First off, toepoke.co.uk isn't about leagues*, there's loads of sites for themopen in new window. This site is about helping you organise a game between your mates.

In my experience the life of the poor person who organises the game, the story goes something like this:

  1. ToePoke reminds you to book the pitch (unless you're lucky enough to have a block-booking).
  2. ToePoke sends out an e-mail to anyone who'd like to play.
  3. ToePoke keeps an eye on who's playing and who isn't.
  4. ToePoke sends out a reminder when you don't have enough people.
  5. ToePoke keeps an eye on things for another couple of days.
  6. ToePoke remembers to check to see if you've got enough players, and if not asks you to cancel the pitch.
  7. ToePoke asks you to set out the sides.
  8. ToePoke ask one of the spare's if they still want to play as someone's dropped out.
  9. YOU finally get to have the fun bit ... a game of footy!
