Frequently Asked Questions

I play as much as I can, sometimes 3 or 4 times a week, is this a problem?

Not a problem at all. toepoke.co.uk was specifically designed to support multiple games (Tuesday's and Thursday's for example). You can even have toepoke.co.uk handle 2 games on the same day, on the same pitch at the same time if you want!*

Hat off to your commitment by the way! Although as much as we'd like to be able to play 3 or 4 times a week we find it infers with our telly time far too much (not to mention it takes the TP development staffopen in new window 6 days to recover between matches!)

* Granted that that's not feasibly possible

Spam Filters

E-mail clients (like Outlook and Gmail for instance) will often try and protect you from spam by placing e-mails it suspects as being spam into a spam filter.

If you were expecting an e-mail from toepoke.co.uk but it isn't in your inbox, it may have been considered spam as be in your spam filter folder.

To counter this you can either mark the e-mail as OK (here's how to do this in Outlook and Gmail) or add the toepoke.co.uk e-mail address to your contacts. Most of the time we will use notication[at]toepoke.co.uk to send messages to you.

I can't access toepoke.co.uk

A lot of companies use Internet Filters on their network to prevent their employees from accessing websites deemed inappropriate.

If you can't access the toepoke.co.uk site from work, you can still e-mail your manager asking them to add your registration via the match dashboard. You'll still have to sign up to the site first, but once that's done you should be fine (or you could ask your manager to sign you up on your behalf and forward the sign-up e-mails to them).

If you're the manager of a game and you can't access the site from work you'll have to do the management activites from home ... or if you're feeling brave ask your IT department if they're willing to let you use the site.

Can I use toepoke.co.uk for my league games?

toepoke.co.uk is intended for helping a few mates have a kick about. That said there's no reason why you can't use the site to help work out who can play and who can't play in a league game.

We suggest creating a game as normal and when it comes to assigning sides, put all the players for your league game on the one side. The e-mails that get sent out may look a little odd to your players, but we're sure it'll make sense.

I'm on holiday next week .. I might miss a match when I get back !

Don't worry, if you ask your manager nicely they can put your name down up to 3 matches away.
